For customised journeys, the booking is based on the itinerary and inclusions outlined in the proposal provided to you on the agreed date.

Unless otherwise stated, the following are not included:
Travel in certain regions may require a degree of flexibility. Wander China reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, local regulations, transportation availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
While we aim to deliver the itinerary as planned, adjustments may be necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will endeavour to provide suitable alternatives while maintaining the overall quality and experience of the journey.
Wander China will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of any changes to your itinerary.
We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
• Medical expenses
• Emergency evacuation
• Trip cancellation or interruption
• Personal belongings
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their insurance coverage is suitable for the nature of the journey. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for participation in trekking, remote, or high-altitude itineraries operated by Wander China.
Wander China reserves the right to request proof of valid insurance coverage prior to departure.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally fit for the activities included in the itinerary.
Some itineraries may involve travel in remote or high-altitude areas. Such conditions may present additional physical challenges, including reduced oxygen levels, varying terrain, and limited access to medical facilities. Participants should have an appropriate level of fitness and, where relevant, prior hiking experience. Individual responses to high-altitude conditions vary, and participants are advised to consider their personal health circumstances and, where appropriate, seek medical advice prior to travel.
Any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, mobility limitations, or other relevant health concerns must be disclosed prior to booking. Failure to provide accurate and complete health information may increase risks and may limit Wander China’s ability to provide appropriate support or make necessary arrangements during the journey.
Wander China may request additional information regarding a participant’s medical history, mobility, fitness, or medical clearance where reasonably required to assess the suitability of a journey. For certain activities or destinations, including but not limited to cruises, high-altitude scenic areas, guided trekking activities, or travel in certain regions such as Tibet, additional medical declarations, medical clearance, or liability waivers may be required before participation. In some cases, these requirements are only confirmed after a participant’s personal and medical information has been reviewed by the relevant operator or authority and may therefore not be known at the time of booking or payment. Participants are responsible for providing any required information and completing any required documentation within the requested timeframe.
Wander China reserves the right to decline, modify, shorten, or withdraw a participant’s involvement in part or all of the itinerary where, in our reasonable judgment or where required by the relevant operator or authority, the participant’s physical or mental condition may affect their own safety, the safety of the group, or the safe operation of the journey.
In such circumstances, no refund will be provided for unused services, missed portions of the itinerary, or voluntary withdrawal from the trip.
Any costs arising from illness, injury, inability to continue, medical evacuation, or voluntary withdrawal remain the responsibility of the participant and should be covered by appropriate travel insurance where applicable.
Travel in certain regions of China, particularly remote or rural areas, may involve a degree of unpredictability. Conditions such as weather, road access, local infrastructure, and availability of services may vary.
Wander China will make every reasonable effort to deliver the itinerary as planned. However, adjustments may be necessary to ensure safety and the overall experience of the journey.
We work with carefully selected local partners to provide services throughout your trip. While we endeavour to ensure quality and reliability, some circumstances may be beyond our reasonable control, including transportation delays, natural events, or disruptions caused by third parties.
Wander China shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or additional costs arising from such circumstances, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Participants are responsible for their own safety, well-being, and personal belongings throughout the journey.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wander China shall not be liable for:
